Buy iPads

Apple iPads are the next generation personal computing device combining multimedia, entertainment and communication in a convenient tablet layout. Following its previous successes with handheld devices like the iPhone and iPod, iPads were the next logical step for Apple to maintain its grasp on the consumer electronics market.

The Apple iPad is a hybrid between the iPhone and personal computer, not only in size but also in functionality. With the iPad, you can send and read emails, browse the net, watch a video, listen to music or read an e-book without being restricted by the small screen of your mobile phone or lugging around a bulky laptop. You can also jot down notes, update your address book, balance your daily schedule and even find your way around town with the range of applications available on the iPads. Little extras like an accelerometer and magnetic compass may not be features that you will use often but it can be handy when navigating your way around unfamiliar streets.

For the more net savvy user, the Apple iPads allow you to easily access and arrange Youtube videos, buy applications (apps) from its App store, music through iTunes and e-books from the iBookstore. You can sync the iPad with most of your devices iPhone, iPod, laptop or even digital camera through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. No need for multiple peripherals, the Apple iPad's multi-touch screen means that you can interact directly with your device by tapping on the screen. With a full colour, high resolution screen, you can enjoy crisp images on the widescreen display and share the experience with those around you.

Launched in March 2010, Apple iPads will be available with Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and 3G. Both types of Apple iPads will have three models offering 16, 32 and 64 gigabyte (GB) of flash memory. Internet connectivity will be restricted in the Wi-Fi only model and you can only get online if you are in an area that offers Wi-Fi internet services. With most airports, hotels and libraries now offering Wi-Fi internet, sometimes free, this should not restrict Wi-Fi only Apple iPads from enjoying the same level of use as the Wi-Fi plus 3G models.

You will not be able to make a phone call with your iPad although VOIP services do make voice chatting possible. Apple iPads are not intended to compete with the laptop or netbook market but with most users requiring only essential communication services and entertainment from their computing devices, the iPad comfortably meets these needs.
